Websites generally fall into two categories: static and dynamic. Static websites are sites with information that does not change often, and these sites usually do not allow the user to customize the information he or she is viewing. We often refer to these sites as “billboard” sites, since the look and content does not change on a day to day basis, and remains the same to everyone who views the site. Static sites are usually built in HTML or Flash (animation).

Dynamic sites are more complicated. A dynamic site will take input from a user and produce pages that contain specific information that the user is looking for. Travel booking sites, online commerce sites, and many news sites are in this category. The user will input information (e.g. a zip code), and the site will provide the user with specific information (e.g. all store locations within that zip code). Dynamic sites involve more careful design and development; they usually involve Java or PHP coding, and often require some type of database creation.

We can provide development for both types of sites. We have over 10 years experience with creating HTML sites, and we are also able to create Flash sites (or Flash graphics for an HTML site). We utilize the Adobe suite of products for our services. In addition, we are also skilled at creating mySQL databases for dynamic websites. In general, we develop sites for small businesses and organizations that require either static or basic dynamic capabilities. For examples of some of our work, visit our Examples page.
